I’ve recently passed AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (AWS CSAA) exam and became a certified solutions architect.
Previously, I had passed MCSD+JLPT exams which were fun, however I haven’t really taken any exams since then… To make up for this, and deepen my knowledge in AWS cloud technologies, I’ve decided to take on a new challenge.
We extensively use AWS here at Checkout.com, however mostly focusing managed and serverless technologies. Therefore, studying for this exam was a good opportunity to learn more about the services we normally don’t use as well.
I was slowly taking different courses on Pluralsight and Udemy for some time, and one month before the exam I’ve been doing practice tests. The exam itself is made of 65 questions with the 130 min time limit. Also, I was allowed to take the exam from home, which definitely makes sense given the COVID-19 situation…
After the intense couple of hours I’ve received “Pass” on the screen, and a message saying that the certificate and results will be delivered within 5 days. It took only one day and I had the above score in my certification account :)
The report didn’t include any questions from the test, and I could only guess which questions I’d failed to answer. Not something of a great importance but still would be nice to know :)
I am happy to pass AWS CSAA in the first attempt! I also had an opportunity to learn more about many different AWS technologies and tools that are available. Till the next exam! :)
